Sighişoara
An old town, documentary certified in 1280, under the name of Castrum Sex, Sighişoara remained one of the few European medieval citadels that are still inhabited.
This place is also directly connected to Dracula’s name, because here, in Sighişoara, has been living, during 1431 and 1435, Vlad the Devil, Vlad Ţepeş’s father, for this reason the town being included in the tourist program Dracula. We can see here also:
-The Fortress (16th-17th centuries), with its 14 towers, 9 of them being still on;
-The History Museum and the Clock Tower (64m high);
- The Covered Stair, with 175 steps and a wooden top;
-The Monastery Church (13th-15th centuries), in the Baroque style;
- The Church on the Hill (14th century), in the Gothic style;
- The Venetian House (16th century)
- The House with Deer (17th century), in the Transylvanian Renaissance style;
