Most of the tourists have surely heard of regions like Maramureş, Transylvania or Bucovina. But Romania is more than that. Its southern area, even though a less promoted and known region, has its own beauties. Let’s discover them together!
DAY 1 – you arrive on Henri Coandă Airport and are taken to Curtea de Argeş, for dinner and accommodation.
DAY 2 – we visit The Monastery of Curtea de Argeş and Saint Nicolae Church- the oldest church in the Muntenia region. We go towards Râmnicu-Vâlcea, and then have a stopover to The Monastery of Horezu and to the Females’Cave. Dinner and accommodation in Târgu-Jiu.
DAY 3 – after dinner, we will visit the sculptural ensemble of our well known artist, Constantine Brâncuşi. Then, going to the monastery of Tismana, to finally arrive to the beautiful health resort Băile Herculane, for staying overnight.
DAY 4 - our direction is Orşova towards Porţile de Fier, the place with the biggest waterworks of the Danube; after this, via Craiova towards Piteşti, for spending the night.
DAY 5 – we leave for Ploieşti, where a wine tasting ceremony is organized for you at Valea Călugărească. Buzău will be the next town we propose to you- visiting the touristic areal of the Muddy Volcanoes. Dinner and accommodation in Galaţi.
DAY 6 – we cross the Danube towards Tulcea. From here, a trip to the Danube Delta is organized for you to travel through the channels by oar boats. Accommodation and a traditional fishing dinner in Tulcea.
DAY 7 – after breakfast, we leave for Constanţa; on our way, we visit The Citadel of Istria. Arriving in Constanţa, we visit The Archeology Museum and The Roman Mosaic, the mosque and the Casino. Dinner and accommodation in Constanţa.
DAY 8 – back to Bucharest; we make the tour of the city and visit The Village Museum and The National Art Museum of Romania. Dinner in a Romanian traditional restaurant and accommodation to a hotel in Bucharest.
DAY 9 – after visiting The Palace of the Parliament, we take you to the airport to leave Romania. |
