The health resort of Sinaia, once called “The Pearl of the Prahova Valley”, is situated in the Meridional Carpathians, at the foot of The Bucegi Mountains, in a 840m height.

DAY 2 – today, we visit Sinaia, with its two touristic attractions- The Castle of Peleş and The Monastery of Sinaia. The Castle of Peleş, built in the German Renaissance style during the 19th century, was the summer residence of the first king of Romania, Carol I. The Monastery of Sinaia has as special attractions its old church and chapel (of ease), from the 17th century, but also the newer church, from the 19th century.

DAY 3 – leaving through the Gorge of Predeal, towards Braşov. The old city of Kronstadt still has an authentic center, where we see The Black Church and The Counsel Square. After a short visit in Poiana Braşov, the most loved place in Romania by the ski amateurs, we head to the Bran Castle. The former castle, today’s museum, is known all over the world as being connected to the legend of Dracula. At a few kilometers distance from Bran, is the village of Moeciu, where we can do a romantic walking into the sledges drawn by horses and feel as in our childhood fairy tales. In the evening, we return to Sinaia.

DAY 4 – we will begin the first Christmas day by taking part to the Orthodox Mass at the Monastery of Sinaia. For the rest of the day, you can make your own program. We will celebrate Christmas through a festive dinner with a specific program in the restaurant of the hotel.

DAY 5 – a trip to Bucharest; during a sightseeing in the Capital, we will have the opportunity to visit the Triumph Arch, The Romanian Athenaeum, the Village Museum and The Palace of the Parliament. Of course that Bucharest has many more to show to us, and this would be a good reason of coming back some other time. But now, we will return to Sinaia.

DAY 6 – leaving for Sighişoara, the former city of Schassburg, and the only Saxon citadel that is still inhabited. The touring car will stop us at the foot of the citadel and then we will walk through its old walls. The Clock Tower, The Uncovered Staircase, the Church of the Hill, The Stag House or the house where Vlad the Devil- Vlad Ţepeş’s father- spent a few years of his life, are the best known attraction points of the citadel. After this, we will return to Sinaia.

DAY 7 – going to Bucharest for leaving Romania.
